What Changes Your Quote
- Stone type & finish. Marble, marble-chip terrazzo and other calcareous stones each respond differently to grinding and polishing.
- Current condition. Heavier etching, staining, scratching or lippage between tiles means more grinding time before honing/polishing can start.
- Desired finish. A matte honed look is a shorter process than a full mirror-gloss crystallization finish.
- Area & access. Furniture that needs moving, high floors, and scheduling around occupied households or commercial trading hours all factor in.
- Sealing. Included in a full restoration; can be booked as its own standalone maintenance visit if only the seal needs refreshing — see our sealing guide for how to tell.
